Josh Mayhem's custom "Hug Machine" for Blamo Show at TAG!

Josh Mayhem's "The Hug Machine," his contribution to the upcoming Blamo! Toys-based custom "Hug" show at Toy Art Gallery, barely alters the actual 3-inch resin figure but rather builds him a huge mech suit to wear (out of what appears to be a Dudebox platform)! Done in a steampunk-esqe style, with tons of exposed gears and parts, the best part is that not only is the Hug removable but the cockpit door opens & closes and the mech's arms are articulated!

“Blamo Toys HUG Custom Group Show” opens on Saturday, December 15th from 7-10pm and runs through December 30th, 2012 at Toy Art Gallery’s showroom located at 7571 Melrose Ave., Hollywood, CA 90046.
