Is Super7's New Year's Release a L'amour Supreme Mongolion?!?

Clik here to view.Earlier this year, Super7 released a sparkly transparent purple vinyl edition of the L'amour Supreme designed 5-inch tall "Mongolion" which they dubbed the "Cosmic Mongolion." The company also has a tradition of releasing a 'surprise' figure on New Year's day, which they seem to have teased with the above image and the tagline: "What could this be? A cosmically interesting close up of a soon-to-release surprise? Will it drop when the ball does?" While it certainly could be a new Cosmic edition of any of their figures, I'm guessing it will be a golden yellow version of the Cosmic Mongolion. We'll find out on January 1st, 2013 in the Super7 online shop.
