I've been writing about the plush meets resin creations of Penny Taylor (aka
Taylored Curiosities) for a good bit now and, during that time, she's made some amazing pieces. But, I will admit, that these "Fenegrygs" were the first ones to make me personally want to take out my wallet and buy; obviously, it's a personal choice thing, but I think they are outstanding looking. A touch close to the works of Amanda Louise Spayd but obviously miles off at the same time… and the strangely bent body makes me think of them as ghostly visitors for some reason. They are currently available in the
Taylored Curiosities online shop in two sizes: 3.5-inches tall for £20 (approx. $32) each or 8.5-inches tall for £40 (approx. $64) each. There will be more sizes in the future and a large selection of these wondrous pieces will be available at ToyCon UK in April 2013.
