Freakies Cereal Playing Cards & Mini-Figure Mascots on Kickstarter!

Do you remember the sugary cereal called Freakies that was available between 1972-1976? Yea, me neither… but that doesn't make it any less real (Wikipedia says it was!). In an officially licensed move, a fan of the classic breakfast treat wants to release a series of playing cards emblazoned with the designs of the various mascots for the brand. While I don't really give a hoot about these playing cards, I am loving the sweet plastic injection molded Gargle mascot mini-figures (pictured below) which you get (along with a deck) for only a $15 pledge in the current Kickstarter campaign to finance this. Honestly, I think they'd do way better just reissuing the mascot figures… they look awesome!
