Scott "Swetters" Wetterschneider ((nickname required, because "Wetterschneider" won't fit on the sculpt), one of the main forces behind
Shinbone Creative, and he has helped take
our "Stroll" mascot from 2D to 3D... well, he has finally crossed over to the dark side and is releasing his first personal sculpt... ever! Introducing "Churm", a chubby, wormy little stinker. Churm is only 5" tall, but his rotund physique makes up for it in sheer girth. The Churm prototype (seen above) is at the Austin based resin casting studio, at this very moment, having bad bad things done to it... so expect a chance to add this little fella to your collection in the very near future!
Here is Scott's description of the piece: "
Thanks to all the support, and pressure from my friends, my first personal sculpt is finally really real. This is Churm, who has slowly crept from sketch to model to prototype. He's wormy and chubby and yes, slightly suggestive, which is often the case with my little monsters. My friends say that my creatures either look like penises or cupcakes, penises or cupcakes... It's not intentional." As you can see from the above digital version of this figure, the transition from digital to fully realized is really a site to see! Scott's little friend isn't available just yet, but if you'd like to see some of his art prints, hit up his online store
