Brad Hill's Cloverfield inspired "Documenting" for Gallery1988's J.J. Abrams show!

Brad Hill mashes the iconic broken Statue of Liberty head from Cloverfield with the Bad Robot mascot to create this original sculptural piece, entitled "Documenting." Part of Gallery1988's official exhibition of artworks inspired by J.J. Abrams's Bad Robot, the Statue's face looks unfortunately squat to me but the the Robot — complete with cell phone for video recording — looks perfect. A really conceptually interesting exhibition, I'm truly looking forward to seeing everything that was created for it!

"The Official Bad Robot Art Experience" will open April 26th with a reception from 7-10PM Pacific time and run through May 18th, 2013 at Gallery1988, 7308 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90046.
