Shepard Fairey's constantly evolving "Printed Matters" continuous exhibition series's next stop is Dallas, Texas, as the collection of printed materials — "including serigraphs on paper, editions on wood, editions on metal, and fine art collage" — is shown in it's newest incarnation at The Public Trust. "Some people say print is on its way out," Fairey remarks, "that it will be wiped out by digital media, but I say you can never replace the provocative, tactile experience of an art print on the street or in a gallery. Printing still matters."
"Printed Matters" opens on Saturday, September 15th with a reception from 6-10PM and will be on display through October 20th, 2012 at The Public Trust, 2919-C Commerce St., Dallas, TX 75226.
