We
previously announced the "G.I. Joe Custom Show" happening at
SubUrban Vinyl that strictly has artists using the
The Loyal Subjects's G.I. Joe Series 1 figures, and now
Don P shares with us one of his pieces for the show: "Soldier Ape: Agresso." We've seen Don P apply his sculpting talents to turning platforms into a variety of things, including apes, and always with stellar results… except that this time the posing and proportions look so unnatural. It is, sadly, a case of the platform getting the better of the customizer. That said, the actual sculpting work is up to Don P's normally outstanding quality and the paint job is completely solid.

The "G.I. Joe Custom Show" group exhibition opens on May 31st with a reception from 4-9
PM local time and will be on display until June 7th, 2013 at
SubUrban Vinyl, 4 Frederick Street, Waldwick, NJ 07463.
